Hate about it? ■ How stressed do you feel at work? ■ What do you get out of it? ■ Do you need to earn more, but don’t know how?

Write the review date on your wall chart. Review your short-term goals every week, your medium-term goals monthly and long-term goals at least every six months. Also, check that your short- and medium-term goals are still consistent with your primary goal. Now write your main goals down on a small card. Keep it in your wallet or purse and carry it around with you. Read them through first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Read them aloud. Read them frequently to keep them at the forefront of your mind.

If you catch yourself thinking negatively, don’t be angry with yourself – this would merely be exchanging one disempowering thought for another.
